The Congressional oversight panel has made public a batch of roughly 70 images secured from the holdings of late adjudicated individual convicted of sex crimes Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the third such disclosure from a tranche of more than 95,000 photos the committee has acquired from Epstein's property. It features images of excerpts from the novel Lolita inscribed across a female's body, and redacted images of women's overseas passports.

This action comes mere hours before the 19th of December due date for the Justice Department to disclose all records related to its inquiry into Epstein.

"These latest photos bring up additional inquiries about what exactly the Justice Department has in its possession," remarked the ranking member of the committee, Robert Garcia.

What is in the Photos Disclosed

Several of the images released on recently depict Epstein conversing with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky inside a private jet; Bill Gates standing alongside a woman whose identity is obscured; Steve Bannon seated at a desk facing Epstein, and previous Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a evening meal.

These are the latest affluent, influential figures to be pictured in Epstein estate photos disclosed by the House Oversight Committee - previously released images also include US President Donald Trump and past president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, previous US treasury secretary Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.

Being pictured in the photos is not evidence of any illegal activity, and a number of the featured individuals have stated they were not implicated in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a statement accompanying the photograph disclosure, Democratic members on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein estate did not provide background information or dates for the images.

"Photographs were picked to furnish the public with openness into a representative sample of the images obtained from the property, and to offer understanding into Epstein's associates and his extremely disturbing behavior," the statement states.

The release also contains several images of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov book Lolita penned in dark ink across different parts of a female's body, including her chest, feet, hipbone, and spine. Lolita recounts the story of a adolescent who was manipulated by a older literature professor.

One quote from the book written across a female's torso states, "Lolita: the tip of the tongue making a journey of three steps down the palate to land, at three, on the teeth".

Additionally, there are a collection of photos of female travel documents and ID papers from states worldwide, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

The majority of the information on the documents, such as identities and DOBs, is censored but the House Oversight Committee said in a announcement that the passports are associated with "women whom Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators were engaging".

Another photo shows Epstein positioned at a workstation intimately flanked by three individuals whose features have been obscured - one individual has her hand on Epstein's upper body under his shirt, and a second is crouching to examine a adjacent device. Epstein appears to be aiding the third individual fasten a piece of jewelry.

An additional photograph released is a image of text messages from an unnamed person who says they have been provided "a number of girls" and are asking for "$$1,000 for each individual".

Photo Disclosure Occurs Prior to DOJ Deadline

The panel has a vast number of images in its possession from the Epstein estate, which are "at once graphic and ordinary," its press release on recently noted.

The oversight panel first legally compelled the estate of Epstein, who died in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while awaiting trial on allegations of human trafficking, in August.

The photos and files the Epstein property provided to the committee are distinct from what is commonly called "Epstein-related records". That material are records within the Department of Justice's possession related to its separate investigation into Epstein.

Under the recently passed law, which Donald Trump enacted last month, the DOJ has until 19 December to disclose its records. The scope of what's found in the DOJ's documents is not publicly known, and it's probable that a large amount of the information will be heavily obscured, similar to Congressional materials
